Fitness Goals and Planning
As a requirement for the course, students will participate in an exercise program that targets cardiovascular fitness. Students should dress appropriately for the weather and wear proper tennis shoes for exercise. Classes will adhere to the following general schedule:
Monday: Fitness circuit with muscle toning exercises
Tuesday: Alternate jog / walk
Wednesday: Fitness walking
Thursday: Timed run
Friday: Fitness games
Fitness Log
Students who choose not to dress out and participate fully will receive a zero for their daily participation grade. Students will also complete fitness tests measuring fitness improvements through the course of the semester. Individuals grades will be based on improvements and effort.
